167th Airlift Wing flies COVID-19 test kits from Italy to U.S.

The 167th Airlift Wing transported just over one million COVID-19 test kits from Aviano Air Base, Italy to Memphis, Tenn., April 16, 2020. The test kits, which are maunufactured in Italy, will be distributed throughout the nation from the Fed Ex hub in Tennessee. Eighteen pallets filled the cargo compartment of the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft, crewed by seven 167th AW Airmen.
