W.Va. Guard assisting with COVID-19 testing, prepped for additional surge support in Eastern Panhandle

Members of the West Virginia National Guard’s Task Force Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise (CRE) (TF-CRE) assist members of the Cabell Huntington Health Department to conduct COVID-19 public testing at the 16th Street Baptist Church in Huntington, West Virginia, May 22, 2020. The joint operation also involved members of Valley Health Systems, Mountain Health Network, Huntington Black Pastors Association, Cabell County EMS, Huntington Police Department, and Cabell County Emergency Management in a whole-of-government effort to provide free testing to the general public in order to combat the ongoing pandemic

Members of the West Virginia National Guard, West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, and the Berkeley County Health Department supported COVID-19 test lanes for  minorities and vulnerable populations, May 15, 2020,  on Bulldog Blvd in between Martinsburg High and South Middle Schools in Martinsburg, W.Va. Best Warrior is an annual event where participants compete in a series of warrior training tasks including weapons proficiency on the M4 rifle, 9mm pistol, land navigation, physical fitness, combat first aid, tactical movements, communications, and professional development activities.
