The mission of the WVNG Human Resources Office is to plan, direct and administer human resource programs for all full-time National Guard personnel to ensure relevance by leveraging technology, improving our processes and disseminating timely and accurate information so that we can provide a trained and ready workforce to meet mission requirements.

NEW CONTACT INFORMATION/PROCESSES FOR TECHNICIANS & TECHNICIAN SUPERVISORS
In order to accurately track and vet all HRO inquiries, we have set up some new processes to better expedite questions and to assist with resolutions of personnel issues. As has been our practice, we have a technician hotline number, 304-561-6749, manned by a live employee. This hotline number is manned from 0730-1600. All calls are logged and vetted to the appropriate section. It is our practice to have our members check these incoming messages at 1500 every day and to return phone calls at that time to avoid interruption of daytime operations. In addition, we have an administrative assistant at the entrance to HRO to help all walk-in customers identify the appropriate party for availability of those HRO employees needed.
