167th Medical Group Airmen assist with COVID-19 nasal swab testing for the local community at the West Virginia University Student Recreation Center, Morgantown, W Va., Sept. 30, 2020. The Airmen are assigned to West Virginia National Guard’s task force medical team which has been assisting county health departments throughout the state during the pandemic.

Chaplain (Capt.) Joshua Stevens passed out ice cream to Airmen while serving on temporary duty at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. Stevens participated in a number of morale-building activities, counseling sessions and reintegration briefings during his month-long tour there in September 2020.

Soldiers and Airmen from the West Virginia and District of Columbia National Guard compete in the West Virginia National Guard Best Warrior Competition held April 19-21, 2024, at Camp Dawson in Kingwood, West Virginia. Best Warrior is an annual event where participants compete in a series of warrior training tasks including weapons proficiency on the M4 rifle, 9mm pistol, land navigation, physical fitness, combat first aid, tactical movements, communications, and professional development activities.
