Chief Warrant Officer 4 Jack Brink

Unit- Fixed Wing Army Aviation Training Site (FWAATS)
FWAATS conducts individual aircrew and enlisted crew member qualification training. Our main emphasis is on Fixed Wing skills within the C-12 and C-26.

MOS- 155E: C-12 Huron pilot

Job Title- C-12/C-26 Standardization Instructor Pilot
The C-12 Huron is a twin turboprop passenger and cargo military aircraft
The C-26 is a multipurpose, low wing, twin engine business turboprop monoplane 

 

Hometown: Milwaukie, Oregon       

How long have you served in the WVARNG: Almost nine months. I Joined after coming off 16 years Active Duty Army

Education: Bachelor of Arts- Whitman College

Hobbies: Financial Planning, Flying, Gaming, Parenting my daughters and supporting their numerous activities

Goals: To continue my service in the Army until retirement and then fly for a major airline  

I am proudest of: My Family

The best day of my life: Somehow convincing my wife to marry me - We've been together 17 years 

Favorite moment in the WVNG: Any day I get the opportunity to instruct, fly, mentor and influence the numerous fellow Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve Army pilots that come to the FWAATS school house 

What do you like best about the WVNG:  Showing up to work with some of the best pilots, Soldiers, leaders and maintainers in my 16 years since becoming an Army Aviator.

Soldiers and Airmen from the West Virginia and District of Columbia National Guard compete in the West Virginia National Guard Best Warrior Competition held April 19-21, 2024, at Camp Dawson in Kingwood, West Virginia. Best Warrior is an annual event where participants compete in a series of warrior training tasks including weapons proficiency on the M4 rifle, 9mm pistol, land navigation, physical fitness, combat first aid, tactical movements, communications, and professional development activities.
