West Virginia National Guard chief case manager U.S. Army Lt. Col. John Snedegar demonstrates the proper method of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) during combat lifesaver (CLS) certification on Jan. 8, 2022, at Camp Dawson in Kingwood, West Virginia. The CLS cert was part of a 40-hour training for Soldiers and Airmen who may support hospital staff in local facilities and included hospital procedures, basic patient care and patient privacy regulations.
