West Virginia National Guard training for hospital missions
West Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen receive combat lifesaver training in the gymnasium on Jan. 8, 2022, at Camp Dawson in Kingwood, W.Va., in preparation for possibly serving the COVID-19 response mission in hospitals around the state. Around 130 Guard Members attended to 40-hour course that (in addition to CLS) included training such as hospital procedures, basic patient care and patient privacy regulations.
