West Virginia Congressional Delegation visits multiple WVNG facilities

Congresswoman Carol Miller toured the Mountaineer ChalleNGe Academy – South, located in Montgomery, West Virginia, Friday, Oct. 21, 2022. During her visit, Congresswoman Miller spoke with new cadets about their MCA experience, provided remarks during a award ceremony, and presented each cadet with a Congressional certificate. The Mountaineer ChalleNGe Academy, a part of the National Guard Bureau’s National Youth ChalleNGe Program, is designed to give academically challenged and/or at -risk teens from across West Virginia a second chance at obtaining their basic education.
